ServiceNow Platform Integration SME Client: A global banking organisation Level: AVP / Technology Service Specialist Rate: £500 to £550 per day Status: Inside IR35 Contract: 6 months with potential extension Location: Canary Wharf, London, with 3 days per week in the office Function: End User Computing (EUC), Security, Compliance and Governance Reporting to: VP, Asset Management About the role Salt Recruitment is recruiting a ServiceNow Platform Integration SME to support a global banking organisation's EUC transformation programme. You will own ServiceNow integration, transition and functional assurance for EUC Security and Compliance. This involves ensuring that essential workflows, data, controls, reporting and integrations across the existing platform, internal systems and third parties are identified, delivered, tested and available within the new ServiceNow platform. Working with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help ensure the transition preserves critical functionality and supports operational and governance requirements. Key responsibilities . Act as the EUC Security and Compliance lead for ServiceNow transformation, integration and platform readiness. . Maintain an integration inventory covering the legacy ServiceNow platform, internal systems, asset and CMDB data sources, endpoint tools, reporting platforms and third parties. . Capture and manage business, control, reporting, data and workflow requirements throughout design, build, testing and implementation. . Map existing capabilities to the target platform, identify gaps and dependencies, and ensure critical functionality is retained or replaced. . Define acceptance criteria, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), oversee defect management and provide readiness recommendations for releases and migration. . Support workflow simplification, automation and reporting improvements, maintaining a prioritised backlog of future enhancements. . Maintain decision logs, requirements traceability, risk and dependency records, and evidence to support audit and platform governance. . Work closely with platform, architecture, engineering, operations, security and supplier teams to resolve issues and support delivery. Key deliverables . ServiceNow integration inventory and interface catalogue. . Legacy capability mapping and assessment of equivalent functionality in the new platform. . EUC requirements catalogue and traceability matrix. . Gap, dependency, risk, defect and remediation register. . UAT framework, acceptance criteria and migration readiness dashboard. . Executive transformation reporting and a continuous improvement roadmap. Skills and experience . Strong ServiceNow platform integration and transformation experience. . Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). . Experience of Software Asset Management (SAM) within ServiceNow. . A good understanding of EUC transformation requirements, data governance and CMDB practices. . Experience designing workflows, data structures and reporting, with strong data analytics capability. . Experience managing complex integrations across internal systems, legacy platforms and third parties. . Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, traceability, UAT and defect management skills. . Experience representing business and control requirements within large transformation programmes. . Strong stakeholder management skills, with a mature approach to working across technical teams, business functions and suppliers. Desirable experience . Practical experience designing, testing and implementing ServiceNow HAM, CMDB and CSDM. . Previous experience working with banking clients. . Experience with endpoint tools, discovery platforms, APIs, middleware or reporting integrations. What success looks like The new ServiceNow platform supports the required EUC capabilities, with integrations identified, tested and assigned clear operational ownership. Critical legacy functionality is retained or replaced, and requirements, decisions and delivery evidence remain traceable throughout the programme.
