Salary: £135 -£232.57 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team in South Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who is passionate about securing the best possible outcomes for children and who is committed to creating a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, alongside the confidence, consistency and resilience required to lead a class where behaviour can, at times, be challenging. Strong classroom management will be essential, as will the ability to establish positive relationships with pupils, maintain clear boundaries and promote a calm, purposeful learning environment.

We are looking for a teacher who demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, adopting a calm, consistent and proactive approach, while building positive and respectful relationships with pupils. They will have high expectations of both behaviour and academic achievement, alongside the resilience and professionalism required to remain calm and effective when faced with challenging situations. A commitment to inclusion, excellent organisation and planning skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the wider school community are essential. The successful candidate will also be committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
