You’ll work across a broad stakeholder network, partnering with clients, suppliers and internal commercial, legal and operational teams to ensure frameworks deliver against both contractual and business objectives.

The opportunity

As Framework Manager, you’ll be responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of contractual frameworks across the UK.

You’ll combine commercial acumen, relationship management and strategic thinking to maximise the value of existing frameworks while identifying opportunities to expand and develop new business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage framework agreements in line with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Take ownership of contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions and service level agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders across Infrastructure, Construction, Facilities Management and other related industries.
  • Identify opportunities for framework expansion, growth and new business within target markets.
  • Lead negotiations and contract renewals, balancing commercial value with effective risk management.
  • Work closely with commercial, legal and operational teams to ensure contractual, regulatory and organisational compliance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and legislative developments that could affect framework agreements.
  • Produce clear reports for senior management covering framework performance, risks, opportunities and key metrics.
  • Manage framework-related budgets and contribute to financial forecasting and planning.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in framework delivery.

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally bring:

  • At least five years’ experience managing frameworks, contracts or similar commercial arrangements within Infrastructure, Construction, Facilities Management or other related industries.
  • A demonstrable track record of improving contract performance and delivering commercial growth.
  • Strong knowledge of UK procurement processes and contract law.
  • Experience managing complex contracts and multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial management capability.
  • The ability to analyse information and produce concise, commercially focused reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office.

Desirable experience

The following would be advantageous:

  • Experience managing complex UK-wide frameworks.
  • Experience of cross-functional or multi-region framework management.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Familiarity with digital contract and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within the built environment.

What’s on offer?

In addition to a competitive £85,000 – £90,000 salary, the package includes:

  • Car allowance
  • Bonus scheme
  • Generous benefits package
  • Hybrid working – 3 days on site / 2 days from home
  • Permanent, full-time employment
  • Opportunities to work with clients and stakeholders across the UK

Why this role?

This is a role for someone who wants to operate at the heart of framework strategy, commercial performance and client relationships.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence how frameworks are developed and managed, build relationships at senior level and directly contribute to business growth.

If you’re commercially driven, confident managing complex contractual environments and enjoy turning strategic relationships into tangible opportunities, we’d be keen to hear from you.
