About the role
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to support a large-scale Windows 11 hardware refresh programme. You will be responsible for device deployments, software installations, user data migrations, troubleshooting, and providing excellent end-user support.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Windows 11 hardware refresh and desktop support experience
- Microsoft Active Directory, Intune and Windows Imaging tools
- Software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- User data backup and migration
- ITSM call logging/ticketing systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Asset management and disposal experience
- Excellent customer service, organisation and time management skills
Requirements:
- Own vehicle with the ability to transport IT equipment
- Business-use car insurance covering travel between sites
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to work independently and as part of a busy technical team
This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive support professional who enjoys working directly with users and delivering successful technology rollouts.
