SEN Teaching Assistant – DN12

Immediate Start | Full Time | Until Christmas

Provide Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the DN12 area.

This is a full-time position starting immediately and running until Christmas, with the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting pupils with their learning and engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
• A patient, caring and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Reliable, proactive and flexible
• Passionate about supporting children to achieve their potential
