About the role
Exciting opportunity to join a quickly growing electric transmission infrastructure developer and owner/operator as a Senior Counsel, Regulatory & Development. Summary Business critical role focused on large-scale multi-billion dollar transmission infrastructure projects across New York and the Eastern United States. Legal experience related to transmission or energy infrastructure permitting and development is required. Experience working with New York State and Federal agencies is a must-have, including but not limited to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the New York Public Service Commission (NY PSC), the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), and other key agencies / stakeholders. Experience with Article VIII Applications ("Siting of Renewable Energy and Electric Transmission") and additional permitting as required from federal, state, and municipal authorities, is required. JD From accredited law school required. License to practice law in New York required.
