We’re an established recruitment business with almost 15 years of success in Belfast, and due to continued growth, we’re looking for an ambitious Recruitment / Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

We work with businesses across Northern Ireland, from exciting start-ups and growing SMEs through to some of the world’s most recognisable brands. Our role is simple: we act as trusted recruitment consultants, understanding our clients’ talent requirements and delivering the people they need to achieve their goals.

This is a people-focused, commercially driven role where you’ll build relationships with clients and candidates, develop new business, identify talent and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

• Business development: Build relationships with prospective and existing clients, generate new opportunities and develop repeat business.
• Client management: Understand your clients’ businesses, teams and recruitment requirements, providing a consultative service throughout the process.
• Candidate attraction: Advertise vacancies and proactively identify, engage and market opportunities to both active and passive candidates.
• Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process from initial vacancy through to successful placement.
• Interview management: Arrange and coordinate interviews, providing support to both clients and candidates.
• Negotiation: Manage salary discussions and recruitment fee negotiations to achieve successful outcomes.
• Marketing: Use advertising, social media and other platforms to promote vacancies and attract the right talent.
• Administration: Keep systems and records up to date and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly from start to finish.

What we're looking for

You don't necessarily need recruitment experience. We're interested in people who have demonstrated success in sales, B2B, business development, commercial customer service or another client-facing environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a relevant role
• A genuine drive to succeed and progress
• Ambition, resilience and a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence speaking to people on the phone
• Strong commercial awareness and a results-focused approach
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
