Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie
You’ll take ownership of your designated kitchen section, ensuring everything is organised, prepared and ready for a smooth and efficient service. You’ll manage daily mise en place, prepare and cook dishes to established recipes, and deliver consistently excellent food with attention to flavour, quality and presentation.
You’ll also be responsible for monitoring ingredient freshness, managing stock rotation and maintaining excellent food hygiene and storage practices to minimise waste and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Alongside your culinary responsibilities, you’ll support and supervise junior team members, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, providing guidance during busy service periods and helping maintain a well-organised, collaborative kitchen environment.
