Picker/Packer

Cogent Staffing are seeking experienced and reliable Picker / Packers to join our client’s team based at their Bradford (BD4) site. This is a hands-on, full-time permanent position from day one, offering immediate start dates. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate stock handling, and the efficient fulfillment of customer orders.

Shifts & Salary

• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent from day one (Immediate starts available)
• Working Hours: Choice of fixed shifts, Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm & 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Location: Bradford (BD4)

Key Responsibilities

• Locate, pick, and pack products accurately according to pick lists and customer order requirements.
• Prepare, label, and securely pack goods ready for dispatch within specified timeframes.
• Assist with goods-in processing, stock movement, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Identify damaged or incorrect stock and report issues promptly to team supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of workplace health, safety, and general warehouse cleanliness.
• Collaborate effectively with the wider warehouse team to achieve daily operational fulfillment targets.

Key Requirements

• Proven prior experience working in a picker, packer, or warehouse operative role.
• Good proficiency in spoken and written English to understand orders and safety instructions clearly.
• Solid basic numeracy skills to perform accurate stock counts and order checks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain pace in a busy warehouse environment.
• Able to commute reliably to the Bradford (BD4) location for either shift.
