PSV Mechanic

Tain, UK Easter Ross Coach Company LLP We are looking for an experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our workshop team.

The role involves carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

* Routine servicing and maintenance
* Vehicle inspections and safety checks
* Fault diagnosis and repairs
* MOT and DVSA preparation
* Preventative maintenance
* Completion of workshop paperwork and records
* Breakdown assistance when required

Requirements

* Experience working on PSV, HGV, LGV, or commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* PSV/HGV licence advantageous but not essential

Pay: From £22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

* Tain IV19: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

Experience:
* PSV/HGV: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (required)
