Teaching Assistant

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good literacy and numeracy skills
• Has experience of working with children, preferably within a primary school setting
• Can support pupils effectively within the classroom and through individual and small-group work
• Can follow guidance from teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning
• Understands how to scaffold learning while encouraging pupils to become increasingly independent
• Can build positive and supportive relationships with children
• Is calm, patient and able to respond positively to pupils with a range of additional needs
• Has good communication skills and can work effectively with staff, pupils and families
• Is organised, flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
