Technical Production Manager

Full time: 40 hours per week.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (depending onexperience).

Downe House is a leading independent boarding school forgirls aged 11-18, based in the village of Cold Ash near Thatcham. Our aim is toprovide pupils with a wealth of academic, pastoral and co-curricularopportunities to allow them to grow into confident young women prepared to takeon the world.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative TechnicalProduction Manager to lead the delivery of exceptional productions,performances and events across Downe House's diverse range of venues. As partof our highly regarded Information Systems Department, you will play a pivotalrole in shaping memorable experiences for pupils, staff, parents and visitors,combining technical expertise with creativity to bring events to life. Workingwithin an environment renowned for both educational innovation and outstandingperforming arts provision, you will oversee the technical delivery of schoolproductions, concerts, showcases and major events while driving the adoption ofnew technologies that enhance the audience and participant experience.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled technicalproduction professional with substantial experience in theatre, live events orperforming arts environments, together with a proven ability to manage complexproductions from concept through to delivery. You will possess expertise acrosslighting, sound, video and stage technologies, alongside strong projectmanagement and leadership skills to effectively manage and develop a team oftechnical specialists. Equally comfortable working strategically andoperationally, you will build strong relationships with staff, pupils andexternal contractors, ensuring the highest standards of creativity, safety andprofessionalism are maintained. With a proactive and solutions-focusedapproach, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility,innovation and a passion for delivering outstanding events are at the heart ofeverything you do.
