Location: Gloucester, UK
Pay Rates:
- Days: £16.00 per hour
- Waking Nights: £16.50 per hour

What you'll be doing:
- Provide high-quality day-to-day residential support, promoting safety, wellbeing, and dignity at all times.
- Support children and young people to develop independence, life skills, and positive routines in line with individual care plans.
- Deliver relationship-based, trauma-informed support through consistency, empathy, and effective communication.
- Support young people who may display challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support techniques.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of incidents and concerns.
- Respond appropriately to disclosures and welfare concerns.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, families, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain professional and accurate records, including daily logs and handovers.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
What you'll bring:
- Experience supporting children and young people in residential care or a similar setting.
- A calm, resilient, and person-centred approach when supporting challenging behaviour.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in completing written reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, days, and waking nights.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable.
- In-date Behaviour Management training is desirable.
