Field Service Engineer – Woodworking Machinery

South East London, Greater London Mazrui Ventures Ltd Location: Field-based, covering South East England Salary: £35,000–£44,000, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established specialist within the woodworking-machinery industry. The position involves servicing, repairing and maintaining industrial woodworking machinery at customer sites throughout the South East. We are particularly interested in engineers with direct experience working on equipment such as CNC machinery, panel saws, edge banders, planers, moulders and industrial cutting machinery. Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair industrial woodworking machinery * Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults * Attend planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdowns * Install and commission machinery where required * Replace faulty components and test completed repairs * Provide professional technical support to customers * Complete service reports and communicate with the service department * Work independently across a field-based territory Requirements * Previous experience servicing or repairing woodworking machinery is essential * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability * Experience with CNC or automated machinery would be advantageous * Ability to read electrical or mechanical drawings * Professional and confident when working with customers * Willingness to travel throughout the South East * Full UK driving licence * Right to work in the UK Application Please apply with an up-to-date CV clearly showing the woodworking-machinery brands and machine types you have personally serviced or repaired.
