Key Responsibilities

Small Works Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of small security works, from initial survey through to final handover.

Engineer & Subcontractor Management: Allocate workloads, brief site teams, and coordinate subcontractors to keep projects on programme and within budget.
Technical Oversight & Reporting: Produce and manage documentation including risk assessments, method statements, O&M manuals, and client handover packs.

Experience: Minimum 3 years working within the physical security industry, either as a senior/lead engineer or in a small works supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with industry-leading security platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, C·CURE 9000, Milestone, Texecom, or Paxton — candidates currently on the tools and looking to step into management are actively encouraged to apply.
Project/Operational Scope: Demonstrable track record of delivering or contributing to small works and commissioning programmes across commercial or industrial environments.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to manage client relationships on site, and a methodical approach to fault-finding and problem resolution.
Mobility & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UK.

Desirable:

Certifications: NSI/SSAIB accreditation awareness; CSCS/ECS card; SIA licence; first aid qualification.
Sector Background: Prior exposure to access control, CCTV, or intruder alarm installations across retail, commercial, or public sector environments.
