Contract Cleaning Manager

Area Cleaning Manager £15.38 per hour | Temp to Perm | South West

Monday - Friday between 09:00-21:00 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee a multi-site key account across the South West, with the opportunity to move into a permanent Contract Manager position.

The RoleAs an Area Cleaning Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of multiple cleaning sites across your region.

You will lead from the front, ensuring high cleaning standards, excellent client relationships and well-supported teams across the account.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple cleaning sites across the South West.
  
  
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  
  
• Planning and implementing regular site visits to monitor cleaning standards and client satisfaction.
  
  
• Managing recruitment, induction, onboarding and training of cleaning staff.
  
  
• Conducting regular site audits and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
  
  
• Ensuring client queries and complaints are dealt with promptly and effectively.
  
  
• Ensuring adequate cleaning supplies, equipment and resources are available across all sites.
  
  
• Managing disciplinary and grievance matters in line with company policies and procedures.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts/accounts – essential.
  
  
• Experience managing multiple sites and teams.
  
  
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, training and staff development.
  
  
• Strong client liaison and relationship management skills.
  
  
• Experience with audits, quality standards and Health & Safety.
  
  
• A motivated and supportive management style.
  
  
• A genuine passion for people and delivering excellent service.
  
  
• A full, clean UK driving licence. - essential 
  
  
• Flexibility to manage your time Monday to Friday across shifts between 6am and 9pm.
  
  

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

• £15.38 per hour during the temporary period.
  
  
• Permanent salary of £30,000 – £32,000.
  
  
• Company car or car allowance.
  
  
• Bonus scheme.
  
  
• 35 days' holiday, including Bank Holidays.
  
  
• Monday to Friday working.
