Kitchen Assistant
Location: School Setting
Hours: Monday–Friday, Term Time Only
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support the school kitchen team. The role will involve helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment and supporting the day-to-day catering service.
Key Requirements
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a school environment.
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS with Child Barring List checks.
- All compliance documentation must be uploaded at the point of submission; incomplete compliance will result in the candidate being rejected.
First Shift Requirements
Candidates must bring photo ID to their first shift and wear:
- Black top
- Black bottoms
- Closed, sensible shoes
Working pattern: Monday–Friday, term time only.
