About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Midweight Designer with a strong FF&E background and a refined aesthetic sensibility. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on high-end residential projects and will be comfortable taking responsibility for elements of a project, while working collaboratively within a wider design team. You will be confident developing concepts and presentations, selecting and specifying FF&E, creating detailed material and fabric schemes, and translating creative ideas into well-considered, technically resolved interiors.
The role will involve supporting Senior Designers and Directors across high-end residential projects, as well as taking the lead on smaller to medium-sized projects or individual areas of larger schemes. A strong eye for materials, finishes and detailing is essential, alongside a good understanding of luxury suppliers and manufacturers across the UK and internationally.
You will be involved throughout the FF&E process, from initial selection and specification through to sourcing, procurement and installation. This will include liaising with suppliers, reviewing samples and shop drawings, attending supplier and factory meetings, coordinating deliveries and ensuring specifications remain aligned with the agreed brief, budget and programme. You will work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers to ensure projects are delivered cohesively and to a high standard, while also attending client meetings alongside senior members of the team.
Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and EstiPC is required. You will also need strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and other members of the design team.
If this sounds like it may have a good synergy with your experience, then we would love to hear from you with your CV and portfolio of work.
1 day WFH.
