About the role
Job Description: ADR Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis in the Hartlebury area.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- ADR licence covering all categories except 1 and 7 (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV driving experience
- Curtain sider and load strapping experience required
The Role
- Typically 1 delivery and 1 collection per day
- Return to the yard daily, with vehicles usually tipped between 15:00 and 16:00
- Yard closes at 17:00
- Early starts required
- Overnight stays and tramping as required
- 40 hours per week
Pay & Benefits
- £17.53 per hour
- Overtime (over 40 hours): Time and a half
- No Saturday working
- Sunday rate: Double time
- Night-out allowance: £25.00 per night
- ASAP start available
