HGV Class 2 Driver

Class 2 HGV Driver – Dorset Pay: £16 - £18 per hour Hours: FULL-TIME / PART-TIME / AD HOC Shifts: DAYS / NIGHTS / TRAMPING Start Date: ASAP

The Role

Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to work with our established clients in Dorset. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular ongoing work, full-time hours, flexible shifts or temp-to-perm opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 / Category C vehicles
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections where required
• Carry out daily vehicle checks
• Complete all delivery paperwork
• Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
• Provide a professional level of customer service
• Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
