Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Alum Rock?
We are looking for reliable and caring Primary Supply Teaching Assistants to work across local primary schools.

The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils in the classroom.
Your day may include:
- Supporting pupils during lessons.
- Helping children with classwork.
- Working with small groups.
- Supporting reading, writing and maths.
- Helping pupils stay focused.
- Supporting classroom activities.
- Helping children who need extra support.
- Encouraging positive behaviour.
- Supporting the class teacher.
- Helping with daily classroom routines.
- Creating a positive learning environment.
Every school day can be different.
You may work across different year groups and primary schools.
Experience Required
You must have previous experience working with children.
You must also have a minimum of 3 months’ experience working in a classroom setting.
This experience can be from a:
- Primary school.
- Secondary school.
- Nursery or early years setting.
- Special educational needs setting.
- Other suitable education setting.
We are looking for people who feel confident working in a busy classroom.
Qualifications
A teaching or childcare qualification is preferred but not essential.
Relevant qualifications may include:
- Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.
- Childcare qualification.
- Early Years qualification.
- Education-related qualification.
Your classroom experience is important.
