Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Join our Adult Safeguarding Team as an Advanced Social Work Lead and become part of a supportive leadership team shaping high-quality safeguarding practice across Swindon. You will play a key role in supporting staff, leading on complex safeguarding work, promoting best practice and driving continuous improvement, ensuring adults receive the right support, at the right time, to achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience in Adult Social Care and a passion for delivering outstanding safeguarding practice.
- Is confident in leading complex and high-risk safeguarding work, supporting professional decision-making and managing risk effectively.
- Can provide high-quality professional supervision, fostering reflective practice, learning and development within the team.
- Builds strong relationships with colleagues, partners and communities, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Champions strengths-based, person-centred practice and is committed to continuous improvement, innovation and excellent outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence practice, support the development of others and make a lasting difference to the lives of people and communities across Swindon.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
