Special Education Teaching Assistant - Long Term Contract

Seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant for an award-winning specialist school in Reigate, providing support to students with severe learning and physical disabilities.

In this position, you will assist pupils managing diverse physical disabilities and severe learning needs.

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30

(Salary: £88-93 per day)

Requirements:

• The school is near public transport options however driving is preferred.
• Enhanced Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.
• Proven history of 3-6 months working with SEN pupils or transferable skills from similar industries e.g. care or support work.
• An understanding of various complex disabilities and/or autism.
• Transferrable skills from other related fields: care, support work or similar.
