About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good communication skills to join our team of Examination Invigilators on a casual basis to supervise students undertaking school examinations at various times during the academic year.
Examinations at Trinity
Examination sessions are generally scheduled into AM and PM slots:
AM - Start 08:00 - approximately 12:30
PM - Start 12:30 - approximately 16:00
Examination seasons normally fall in November, January, February, April, May, June and July with additional ad-hoc testing throughout the academic year.
Duties will include the set-up of examination rooms, handling confidential examination materials and supervising candidates during examinations. Full training will be provided.
The successful candidate should:
- Be flexible, well-organised, reliable and punctual
- Have a good understanding of IT/technology
- Have good availability and commitment to support the Examinations department during the examination sessions and seasons (above)
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team under the guidance of the Examinations Officer and Lead Invigilators
Previous invigilation experience, acting as a Reader or Scribe or experience of working in a school would be an advantage.
