About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA professional to play a key role in the delivery of business-critical digital solutions within a Financial Services environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior QA/Test Analyst to drive quality across the full software delivery lifecycle, supporting a catalogue of new Salesforce features while working collaboratively with UK and international development teams. The successful candidate will bring strong experience across both manual and automated testing, with a particular focus on Salesforce and nCINO, and will help ensure solutions meet business requirements, customer needs, regulatory expectations and the organisation’s governance standards.

The role will be responsible for driving a multi-level testing approach across system, integration, regression and acceptance testing, while working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers and wider stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of requirements and ensure testability from the outset. You will be expected to contribute to test strategy and approach, develop detailed test plans and scripts, provide accurate test estimates and progress reporting, manage risks and defects, and ensure full traceability of requirements, tests and evidence through tools such as JIRA and Confluence. You will also facilitate feature and story sign-off with Product Owners and BAs and produce key QA artefacts including test strategies, traceability matrices and test completion reports.

A strong automation background is essential, with the successful candidate expected to build, maintain and optimise robust, reusable automation frameworks that provide fast and reliable feedback to development teams. Experience with Selenium, JavaScript, Cucumber/BDD, API testing and REST-based services will be highly relevant, alongside experience of modern automation frameworks and approaches. Experience of automating Salesforce, ideally Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or nCINO, will be particularly valuable. The role will involve writing and executing automated tests, maintaining regression packs, troubleshooting failed automation and CI builds, and working with CI/CD tooling and deployment processes such as Jenkins, TeamCity and Bitbucket.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working within Agile, multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong understanding of shift-left testing and quality engineering principles. Experience of Scrum, Kanban or similar Agile methodologies, together with active participation in Agile ceremonies, will be important. You will be comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC, supporting iterative delivery and continuous prioritisation while maintaining appropriate levels of control and governance. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve QA processes and test effectiveness will also be expected.

Experience within Financial Services, Banking or Payments will be highly advantageous, particularly where testing has involved complex technical environments, regulatory requirements, real-time banking platforms or customer-critical journeys. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of risk management, compliance, auditability and robust test evidence, while also being able to balance appropriate levels of testing with the need for accelerated delivery and early realisation of business value.

This role would suit a Senior Test Analyst, Salesforce QA, Salesforce Test Engineer or Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in enterprise-scale Financial Services environments. The successful candidate will bring hands-on automation expertise, experience of Salesforce and/or nCINO testing, strong knowledge of the full testing lifecycle, and the ability to establish effective automation and QA practices from the ground up. You will be a self-starter who can operate across technical and business teams, challenge constructively, communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to the organisation’s wider digital transformation journey while keeping quality, customer outcomes and delivery at the heart of everything you do.
