Purpose of the position

• To work to encourage attendance in school, working towards achieving 100% attendance.
• To work towards pupils being in lessons to a specific timetable to meet individual needs.
• Provide appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for all students, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the the Headteacher of the school.
• To join an enthusiastic group who help with the learning and social development of pupils who are the subject of individual support and who may be under the guidance of the SENDCo and SEND Department and in liaison with other class teachers and other professioals.
