About the role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and successful business based in the King’s Lynn area, who are looking to strengthen their sales team with an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative and customer service skills and build a long-term career. Previous industry experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

 

As a Sales Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the sales team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the sales office.

 

Key Duties:

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare customer documentation and sales paperwork.
  • Assist with invoicing and order processing.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and sales databases.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, finance companies and suppliers.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Answer telephone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Welcome customers and provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Maintain organised office records and filing systems.
  • Assist colleagues with general administrative duties.
  • Support the wider team to ensure the sales office operates smoothly and efficiently.

 

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident and professional when communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Numerate and literate, with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Able to manage your time effectively and prioritise competing workloads.
  • A reliable team player with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Willing to take on new challenges and learn new processes.
  • Interested in building a long-term career within a successful business.
  • Previous experience in office administration, sales administration or customer service would be advantageous, but is not essential. Full training will be provided.
