Position Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive and people-focused Resident Liaison Officer to support the successful delivery of energy efficiency and retrofit projects.

You will be responsible for engaging with residents, coordinating access and appointments, and ensuring a positive resident journey from project inception through to completion and aftercare.

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and supporting smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between residents, site teams, and the client on site
• Introduce works, explain scope, programme, access requirements, and expected disruption (letters, welcome packs, door knocking)
• Book and manage resident access and appointments
• Identify and support vulnerable residents, arranging reasonable adjustments where required
• Provide regular updates to residents and manage expectations throughout the works
• Handle day-to-day queries, concerns, and issues from residents
• Log, manage, and resolve complaints, escalating where necessary
• Maintain accurate resident records, access logs, and contact notes
• Produce reports on access rates, complaints, and resident satisfaction
• Support site teams to improve access, productivity, and programme delivery
• Manage resident communication through completion, aftercare, defects, and final handover packs

Requirements

• Experience working in a project-based environment from start to finish
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills
• Strong relationship-building and customer service ability
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
• Strong team player with a professional approach
