A highly regarded primary school in St Albans is looking to appoint an experienced Year 1 Teacher for an immediate start, initially on a long-term temporary basis through to the end of the academic year. The role involves a small Year 1 class with two supportive TAs already in place. SEN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL. The successful teacher will need to be confident supporting pupils with additional learning needs and adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities. The Role You will take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, working closely with two experienced and supportive TAs to provide engaging, inclusive and well-structured learning. The school is looking for a confident teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships, maintain high expectations and create a calm, purposeful classroom where every child can make progress.
