Salary: £26,106 - £26,847 per annum
St Wilfrid’s C.E. Primary School is a happy, friendly school with a strong family ethos and strong team commitment to improving the outcomes and aspirations of all our children.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to undertake class based activities and 1:1 support.
You will be working closely with teaching staff to support key worker groups of children over a range of curriculum activities.Experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable as this role will involve an element of 1:1 support.
Although this position is currently temporary until August 2027, there is the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who:-
- Has a sound knowledge and experience of working in school setting.
- Has high expectations of yourself and others.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be willing to share your classroom practice with others and be directed by others.
- Is highly organised and motivated.
- Will play an active role in the classroom setting.
- Can demonstrate the vision and values of the school in everyday work and practice.
- Has an understanding of how young children learn and how to get the best out of children.
- Is positive and able to persevere.
- Can remain calm under pressure.
