Job Title: Class 2 Refuse Drivers

Pay Rate: £15.46 per hour PAYE

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client’s waste management team in Hereford. This is a great opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers looking for steady, long-term work with competitive pay and excellent conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
• Collect commercial and municipal waste along designated routes, maintaining schedules
• Complete vehicle pre-checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
• Interact courteously with the public and site personnel where required
• Follow all Health & Safety and waste collection protocols

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Driver CPC / DQC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR10 endorsements)
• Previous refuse collection or commercial driving experience preferred
• Good physical fitness (some manual handling required)
• Positive, team-player attitude with strong communication skills
• Minimum 6 months HGV Driving experience

Working Hours & Benefits

• Typical hours: Monday to Friday, early starts (around 05:00)
• Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates
• Onsite parking provided
