Responsibilities in your new role as Resort and Lodge Services Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day overall management of accommodations and services, including lounge, dining, bar, hot tub, and treatment room facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily hotel set-up and presentation
- Lead Guest Services, Housekeeping and F&B teams
- Develop and maintain operating procedures
- Plan and deliver staff training
- Manage guest check-ins, payments and departures
- Maintain health, safety and emergency procedures
- Oversee suppliers, contractors, linen and amenities
- Manage housekeeping standards and public areas
- Support F&B operations, menus and stock
- Monitor departmental costs and commercial performance
- Coordinate VIP arrivals, treats and turndown services
- Maintain five-star guest service standards
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment and be fluent in English. Experience using booking or reservation systems would be advantageous. You’ll bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and a polished, professional telephone manner.
A positive, adaptable and flexible approach is essential, along with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also be comfortable working a varied shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
