Cook in Charge

St William's Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Cook in Charge to join our hardworking catering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our school community, ensuring that pupils enjoy high-quality, nutritious meals each day. As Cook in Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen, lead and support catering staff, plan menus that meet national nutritional standards, manage stock and budgets effectively, and ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety are maintained.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, takes pride in delivering an excellent service, and has the leadership skills to inspire and manage a team. The successful candidate will be well organised, able to work independently, and committed to creating a positive dining experience that supports our pupils' health, wellbeing and readiness to learn.
