Fire and Security Engineer

Barnsley, UK FS Recruitment Services We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team, based around Sheffield and covering customers across Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable role with no call-outs, a competitive salary of up to £45,000, and a company van that can also be used for personal journeys. The Role You will be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of a range of fire and security systems across commercial customer sites throughout Yorkshire. Your work will include: Fire alarm systems Intruder alarm systems CCTV systems Access control systems Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs Planned preventative maintenance Installation and commissioning of new systems Completing service documentation and maintaining high standards of customer service What We're Looking For Candidates must have: 5+ years' experience working within the fire and security industry Strong experience servicing and installing fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills The ability to work independently and manage your own workload A professional approach when working on customer sites A clean, full UK manual driving licence Package Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience Company Van: Provided with personal use Call-Out: None – no call-out rota Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays Training: Manufacturer training provided Area: Sheffield and across Yorkshire This position would suit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Security Systems Engineer or Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer looking for a well-paid regional position without the requirement to participate in an on-call rota.
