Personal Care Assistant
Sherard Primary School
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Personal Care Assistant at Sherard Primary school for 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, (10:30am - 2.30pm) term-time only (38 weeks). The role will be in the Sherard Specialist Provision.
We are all focused on doing what is right for our children and pride ourselves on being highly inclusive. We nurture our children and staff to ensure everyone can grow and succeed.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils with their personal care needs. You will work with a number of children with a range of special educational needs e.g., communication difficulties, Autism, ADHD and behaviour difficulties, to support with implementing personal care and toileting programmes.
With a remuneration package including:
A salary of £11,552.81 (FTE £25,629)
Local Government Pension Scheme membership
5.44 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.44 weeks after 5 years’ continuous service
