Qualified Primary Teacher

This full‑time KS1 Teaching Assistant role gives you the chance to support pupils during a key stage of their development. Because you already have strong classroom experience, you’ll settle in quickly and help create a calm, structured and engaging learning environment.

You’ll move between whole‑class support, small‑group tasks and targeted interventions. Meanwhile, you’ll bring steady enthusiasm and clear routines that help pupils stay focused and confident. Every day offers something new, and your contribution will genuinely shape their progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily KS1 learning through active involvement in lessons and routines
• Lead small‑group activities that build confidence and reinforce key skills
• Provide 1:1 guidance for pupils who benefit from extra encouragement
• Prepare resources and maintain purposeful learning spaces
• Use positive behaviour strategies to promote calm, consistent expectations
• Work closely with teachers and wider staff to deliver well‑paced, engaging learning
