About the Role

We are recruiting for a number of Student Services Administrator positions within a large educational organisation. These roles offer the opportunity to support students, academic colleagues and professional services teams by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support.

Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting the student journey, managing enquiries, maintaining records, coordinating activities and ensuring administrative processes run efficiently.

Successful candidates will be adaptable, organised and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience while working effectively as part of a wider team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for students, staff and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support across a range of operational and student-facing activities.
  • Respond to enquiries, resolving straightforward issues and escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Process, update and quality-check information using internal systems.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, room bookings and events.
  • Prepare and distribute communications to students, staff and external contacts.
  • Support enrolment, induction, attendance monitoring and other key student lifecycle activities.
  • Assist with the administration of assessments, examinations and academic processes where required.
  • Produce reports and administrative information for colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure a seamless and consistent service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to service improvements.
  • Support the delivery of projects, initiatives and events that enhance the student experience.


About You

We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or office-based role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A professional, approachable and customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • The ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within an education, public sector or customer-focused environment.
  • Experience using databases, records management systems or case management systems.
  • Experience supporting events, committees or project activities.
