Trainee Assembler

Holt Engineering is working with an innovative and steadily growing manufacturing company in Fareham, who are looking for a Trainee Assembler to join their busy production team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the assembly and manufacturing process, with responsibilities including electronic assembly, PCB soldering, masking and conformal coating.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electronics or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a detailed, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Trainee Assembler: 

• Supporting the production team with day-to-day assembly activities
• Working with PCBs and carrying out electronic assembly tasks
• Soldering components to PCBs 
• Using hand soldering irons 
• PCB washing and masking
• Working from technical drawings and production instructions
• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For the Trainee Assembler:

• Previous experience within electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines
• A reliable and positive approach to teamwork

£12.71 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Early finish every Friday at 12:30pm
Full time Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm
