Blackburn, UK Teaching Personnel Reception Teaching Assistant (EYFS) - Blackburn Full Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Start Date: After October Half Term (W/C 2nd November) Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Blackburn that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within their Reception Class on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The Role Supporting teaching and learning within a busy Reception classroom Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities Supporting children's development across communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills Assisting with observations, assessments, and learning through play Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Carrying out welfare assistant duties as part of the school day Requirements Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is essential A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum Working Hours 8:45am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break) What the School Offers A welcoming and supportive school environment Opportunity to work within a dedicated EYFS team Long-term placement with potential for the right candidate Rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
