Site Engineer | Civil Engineering | Yorkshire | £50k - £55k + Package

Looking for a Site Engineer role with an established civil engineering contractor delivering a strong pipeline of projects across Yorkshire?

We're recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a varied portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

This is a site-based role where you'll be involved in much more than setting out. You'll play an important part in the day-to-day delivery of projects, working closely with Site Managers and the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and to the required quality.

The Role;

• Setting out and surveying across civil engineering projects
• Working from construction drawings and ensuring latest revisions are used on site
• Checking line, level and specification throughout the works
• Supporting the day-to-day coordination of site operatives and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and project specifications
• Carrying out site inductions and daily briefings
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Completing site records and maintaining accurate project documentation
• Taking pre-start, progress and completion photographs throughout the project
• Checking materials and deliveries against project requirements
• Recording and collating as-built information

What We're Looking For;

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong setting out and surveying experience
• Ability to confidently read and work from construction drawings
• Good understanding of construction methods and site processes
• Experience maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
• Comfortable working with site teams, subcontractors and management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
