Evening & Weekend Site Assistant

Monday - Wednesday 5.00-9.00pm; Saturday 8.30am-5.30pm; Sunday 8.15am-1.15pm

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is enthusiastic, confident and committed to working within a busy school environment. The person appointed will be responsible for the site while it is being used by community groups, lettings, Language College classes and after school activities. Duties include site security, responding to any health and safety or cleaning issues, and site maintenance as part of a team led by our Senior Site Officer. Additional hours will be available by negotiation to support school events and cover for absence.

We are looking for someone who is practical, dependable and conscientious, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. You will need good attention to detail, take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, and understand the importance of health, safety and safeguarding within a school environment.

Previous experience in a school, caretaking, facilities, maintenance or similar environment would be beneficial, but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with relevant practical skills and a willingness to learn.
