Astrea Academy Woodfields is seeking a dedicated and resilient Pastoral Support Officer to join our pastoral team and play a key role in creating a positive, safe and supportive learning environment for all scholars.

About the Role:
As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting scholar wellbeing, behaviour and engagement. Working closely with our Pastoral Year Leads and wider pastoral team, you will help maintain our high expectations, support behaviour systems, liaise with families and external agencies, and ensure scholars receive the support they need to thrive. Your work will have a direct impact on the day-to-day experiences and success of our scholars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Scholar Success: Work proactively with scholars, staff and families to promote positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
• Build Strong Relationships: Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure scholars receive the right support at the right time.
• Maintain High Standards: Support the implementation of academy behaviour systems, including detention processes, suspension administration and reintegration support.
• Pastoral Administration: Maintain accurate records, monitor attendance, produce reports and ensure pastoral information is managed effectively.
• Support Learning and Inclusion: Help provide a positive environment where scholars can focus on learning and achieve their full potential.
