Sales Manager

Sales Manager | UK Water Sector | Salary DOE + Package   We're currently working with an established specialist contractor to recruit a Sales Managers to support the continued growth of their business within the UK water sector.   This is a varied commercial role combining business development, account management and estimating, with responsibility for developing relationships and securing opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and major delivery alliances across the UK water market.   The successful candidates must have a proven background selling mechanical, civil or complementary engineered products/solutions into the water sector.   What You'll Be Doing;

• Developing new business opportunities across the UK water sector
• Managing and growing existing contractor and framework relationships
• Selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and major water alliances
• Identifying opportunities and taking them from initial enquiry through to order
• Producing estimates, quotations and commercial proposals
• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into secured work
• Building relationships with key decision-makers across contractors and supply chain partners
• Working closely with the wider team to support continued growth within the water market

What You'll Need;

• Proven sales experience within the UK water sector
• Experience selling mechanical, civil or related engineered products/solutions
• Existing knowledge of Tier 1 and Tier 2 water contractors and alliances
• A successful track record of developing and converting opportunities
• Ability to estimate and produce quotations rather than operating purely as a relationship-led salesperson
• Strong business development and account management skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage opportunities from enquiry through to order
