Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a well-established client in Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager that can take ownership of day-to-day site operations.

You'll be responsible for coordinating trades and subcontractors for the roofing and cladding package , overseeing activity and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

• Negotiable day rate, depending on experience.
• 8 months duration
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm.
• Opportunity to work with a well-established construction client.
• Support from the Acorn by Synergie team throughout the assignment.

• Manage day-to-day site operations, site labour for roofing and cladding package
• Liaise with trades, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate and monitor materials and deliveries.
• Ensure works are completed to programme and required quality standards.
• Carry out site inductions
• Monitor and enforce site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain effective communication across the site team.
• Open and close the site each day.
• Take ownership of site activities and help ensure the smooth delivery of the project.

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager
• Previous experience managing roofing and cladding contracts
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SMSTS Certification.
• First Aid Qualification.
• Strong understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Confident managing trades, subcontractors and site teams.
• Proactive and organised approach.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently.
