Looking for a permanent warehouse role with regular daytime hours, a good basic salary and something a little different from standard picking and packing?

C2 Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Operative - Stock Control to join a busy distribution centre in Blyth.

Your job will be all about accuracy. You'll physically check stock moving through the warehouse, identify discrepancies and make sure pallets, cages and loads match the relevant paperwork.

You don't need previous auditing experience. If you've worked in a warehouse, goods-in, dispatch, stock control, inventory or picking environment, we'll provide the training you need.

What You'll Be Doing

• Checking pallets, cages and trailer loads

• Auditing inbound and outbound stock

• Checking stock against paperwork and delivery requirements

• Identifying and reporting discrepancies

• Recording results accurately

• Working to daily productivity and quality targets

• Spotting recurring stock issues

• Working closely with the wider warehouse team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's reliable, accurate and switched on.

You'll need:

• Previous warehouse experience

• Good attention to detail

• Confidence with basic calculations

• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills

• Good communication skills

• The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy

• To be aged 18 or over

Hours

40 hours per week
5 days out of 7
8-hour shifts between 9:00am and 5:30pm

This is a permanent, site-based role working in an ambient warehouse environment.
