Afternoon Cleaner (Permanent Contract)
Hours of work: 15 hours per week, term time only plus 4 weeks,
worked Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm,
Friday 3:00 pm - 6:00 pmHours of Work
Full-Time Equivalent Salary: Grade 2, £24,796 per annum, Pro Rata (Actual Salary): £9,846 per annum
Required for 2nd November 2026.

Bishop Challoner Catholic College are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is looking for an equally passionate and dedicated team to be a part of and who are responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of our site. The ideal candidate would be flexible and responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety are met. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment to the role, be able to uphold the school’s Catholic ethos and be able to develop positive relationships with our staff and students.
Bishop Challoner Catholic College is a highly successful, heavily over-subscribed mixed 11-19 Catholic comprehensive school in the South of Birmingham. We were designated one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in the country and we are also a lead school for the Central Maths Hub and the Schools Sports Partnership. In September 2024, we launched our SCITT which recruits and trains the next generation of inspirational teachers. This is a measure of the high achievements of the school and its excellence in training and developing staff.
