A leading national law firm is expanding its Bath presence and is looking to build a new residential conveyancing team within its office.

As a result, five Residential Conveyancer positions are currently available, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced conveyancers to join a growing team with the backing, infrastructure and established client relationships of a highly regarded national firm.

The Opportunity

The firm has developed strong relationships with estate agents both locally and across the UK, providing a consistent pipeline of residential conveyancing work.

This means successful candidates can expect a busy but manageable caseload, with a strong flow of instructions and the support of an established national business behind them.

The firm is open to considering both qualified and non-qualified conveyancing professionals. For non-qualified candidates, the level of experience required will depend on the experience they can bring and their ability to handle matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.

Working Arrangements

There is genuine flexibility around how the role is structured:

• Remote working can be considered for experienced conveyancers who are comfortable managing their caseload with minimal supervision.
• For candidates who prefer a more office-based environment, there is an expectation of being in the Bath office approximately 2 days per week as a minimum.
• Candidates who require a high level of day-to-day supervision are likely to be better suited to the office-based/hybrid model.

What They’re Looking For

The firm is interested in speaking with residential conveyancing professionals who have experience handling their own caseload and are confident managing transactions through to completion.

Depending on experience, this could include:

• Solicitors
• Licensed Conveyancers
• CILEX-qualified professionals
• Experienced Conveyancers who are not formally qualified

The key consideration is practical residential conveyancing experience and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Salary & Package

For candidates at the more junior end of the market, salaries are expected to be in the region of £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience.

For more experienced candidates, the firm is prepared to have bespoke conversations around salary and overall package.
