Bristol  - Permanent  - Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm


We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly accountancy practice in Bristol.


This is a varied role working with a portfolio of clients, ideal for someone who already has bookkeeping experience and enjoys working in a smaller practice environment.


What you’ll be doing

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Processing financial transactions and maintaining accounting records
• Preparing information for year-end accounts
• Liaising directly with clients regarding their accounts and queries
• Supporting the wider practice with general accounts administration

What we’re looking for:

• Previous bookkeeping experience
• Ideally, experience gained within an accountancy practice
• Good working knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT
• Comfortable using accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident dealing directly with clients
• Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload

• Bristol with parking close by
• 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
• Permanent
• Salary is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience.)
