A senior, hands-on role leading work for founders and investors at a fast-growing agency in the early-stage tech ecosystem.

The client: Startup & Venture Communications Agency

A remote-first communications agency working with startups, scale-ups and investment firms across AI, fintech, deep tech and enterprise software. For over a decade they've helped venture-backed companies across the UK and Europe build reputation and credibility, with coverage landing in the FT, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, BBC, Reuters and Sifted.

It's a small, senior, high-trust team. There are no layers of approval to wade through, so the people who join do the strategic, client-facing work themselves and get real ownership of their accounts from day one.

The role: Senior Consultant

You'd be the senior client lead across your accounts, advising founders, investors and senior stakeholders with conviction, while staying hands-on with the press office, the angles and the big coverage wins. You'd own editorial and media strategy from angle to placement across national, business and sector press, and keep coverage coming even when there's no hard news.

You'd lead campaigns end to end, built on real business objectives and real media appetite, and manage junior colleagues and freelancers across your accounts. There's a real new business element too, leading proposals and pitches and growing existing relationships, plus a voice in where the agency goes next.

The role will need at least five or six years' agency experience in tech PR, with meaningful exposure to the early-stage and venture ecosystem. They'll want to see coverage you've secured in national, business and sector press, and a track record of advising founders and investors and earning their trust. Experience running fundraising communications is a strong plus, and crisis or reputation work is welcome.
