Band F - £29,071 - £33,119 per annum (actual salary for part-time, term-time working £23,533 - £26,810), Plus generous sick pay and eligibility to join the Local Government Pension Scheme

35 hours per week - (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm), Term time only, Permanent contract

We are looking for a SEND Lead to join our caring, supportive and child-centred school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring that every child with SEND receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

At the heart of this role is the opportunity to make a real difference. You will work closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to coordinate high-quality SEND provision, build positive partnerships and ensure that every child feels understood, valued and able to succeed.

What you'll do:

• Support and monitor SEND provision across the school, ensuring children receive the right support at the right time.

• Work closely with teachers to develop, implement and review Learning Plans that help pupils access learning successfully.

• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and outside agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to support.

• Coordinate referrals, assessments and communication with external professionals.

• Monitor the impact of interventions and support staff in delivering effective strategies and adaptations.

• Champion inclusive practice and help colleagues develop confidence in supporting pupils with SEND.

• Support children through key transitions, helping them feel secure and prepared for the next stage of their education.
